HISTORY

The activities at present carried out by the company OSP Instrumentación, S.A. de C.V. date back to June of 1988 through the company Implementos Tecnológicos para Comunicaciones, S.A. de C.V. (ITC) that operated during the boom of satelite communications, distinguishing itself by being a company of Infrastructure Services in this field. It installed for diverse companies of the field more than 300 satelite stations for news and photos for most of newspapers and banking organizations of all Mexico. ITC operated until 1997.

In October of 1991 we started as suppliers for TELMEX, dealing with the products that TELMARK INTERNATIONAL commercialized. In June of 1994 we decided to found OSP Instrumentación, S.A. de C.V. to manage the commercial and technical part for TELMEX of all the equipment for OutSide Plant. From its foundation, the company has been distinguished by being a serious and dedicated organization for the technical support of all its products.

In June of 2002 we founded OSP International CALA Ltda. with the primary goal to deal with the operations of the international projects in all the region. It has as center of operations the city of Bogota (Colombia), and subsidiaries in Tegucigalpa (Honduras) and in Panama.

From its formation there is a division of Development of Systems Applications for local telephony companies provided with an Administrative System for Electrical Tests (SAPE) and with an Integral System for Verification of Network Registers
(SIVARR).

Additionally and in association with the Microelectronics Research Center of the Universidad de Antioquia we have developed the equipments: SIPLEX VER, used for the qualification of copper networks in Broadband, and SIPLEX PRO, used to test telephone lines under service interacting with the telephone centrals.

Our technological association with Consultronics Inc. (now EXFO) of Canada has been fundamental, this company is a world-wide leader in Test Equipment for Telecommunications.
At present our products are being employed in countries like Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay.

We are manufacturers of the Test Connection Shoes used by the Network Verification Equipments which are compatible with DAVAR, PAIRVIEW, MCS and HARRIS.
